We are pleased to advise our first guest speaker for 2023 :

"The BASICS of FLIGHT"

presented by Andy Smith

Andy, a semi-retired IT professional, has had his passion for aeronautics grow to the point he is now almost fully occupied developing frontline surveillance drones for the Australian defence forces.

Andy will talk to us about gliders and motorised drones -  designing them, building them and flying them.
He will have a number of examples and hopefully we'll see some of them in the air!
